The latest Youth Risk Behavior Survey reveals a decline in feelings of persistent sadness or hopelessness, along with a drop in suicidal thoughts and behaviors compared to previous years. While the numbers remain concerning, the shift marks the first notable improvement in nearly a decade.

The survey also sheds light on daily habits that shape student well-being, including diet, sleep and nutrition.
