KINGSTON, R.I. — March 17, 2025 — In response to the growing emphasis on public health and the pressing demand for skilled professionals in the field, the University of Rhode Island College of Health Sciences has announced the launch of a new Master’s of Public Health (MPH) program. This initiative aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address public health challenges in communities throughout Rhode Island and beyond.
The MPH program will focus on a comprehensive curriculum that covers essential topics such as epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy, and community health. The program is designed to prepare graduates for a variety of roles in public health, including research, policy development, and health education.
