Greensboro, NC — A dedicated team of faculty, staff, and administrators from Bennett College, along with their partner institution Salem College, will embark on an enriching journey to Morocco this June. This four-week educational seminar will delve into the vital topics of women's rights, health, and cultural dynamics within Moroccan society.
The initiative is made possible by a Fulbright-Hays Group Project Abroad (GPA) grant awarded to Bennett College by the U.S. Department of Education. As the author of the successful grant proposal, Bennett College takes pride in leading this transformative experience.
Participants will engage in a comprehensive exploration of health equity, examining how cultural factors influence women's health outcomes in Morocco. The seminar aims to foster cross-cultural understanding and collaboration, equipping attendees with insights that can be applied to their own communities. This unique opportunity reflects a commitment to advancing women's rights and health on a global scale.
