The Ministry of Health of Chile has officially joined the Alliance for Primary Health Care in the Americas, a collaborative effort aimed at enhancing primary healthcare services across the region. This initiative is spearheaded by prominent organizations, including the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank).
As part of this initiative, Chile will establish the Mesa Consultiva of Primary Health Care, a consultative body designed to facilitate dialogue and collaboration among various stakeholders in the healthcare sector. This move reflects Chile's commitment to improving health outcomes for its citizens by strengthening the primary healthcare system.
By participating in this alliance, Chile aims to leverage shared knowledge and resources to address common challenges in healthcare delivery.
